1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Custom CV, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Custom CV is a resume tailoring service. You provide your resume and a job listing URL, and we generate a tailored version optimized for that specific role, including match scoring, keyword optimization, and country-specific formatting.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. Credits & Payments

  • Each tailored resume costs credits as determined by your selected tier.
  • Credits are purchased through Stripe and are non-transferable.
  • Free tier users receive one complimentary resume tailoring.
  • All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Credits do not expire.

5. Refund Policy

If a tailored resume does not meaningfully improve your match score, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
  • Share your account credentials or resell access to the service.
  • Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content you provide. The tailored output is yours to use as you wish. Custom CV retains ownership of the service, algorithms, and underlying technology.

8. Disclaimer

Custom CV is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using our service will result in job interviews or offers. Resume tailoring is a tool to improve your application. Outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Custom CV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
